Kartir at Naqsh-e-Rajab, Iran

 

Of the four Sassanid rock reliefs at  Naqsh-e-Rajab is a particularly intriguing one of the High Magi, Kartir   who was  high priest under Shapur I and his sons  Hormizd I (272-273 CE) and  Bahram I (273–276 CE).
